The Weeknd : House of Balloons

First off, this came to thought when I remembered I heard a comment somewhere that they thought, ” Yeaysayer is like cocaine for aliens…”

I’ve been listening to The Weeknd album on and off for a few days now, and the only way I can really say what I think of it are by these words….
cocaine for electro, hipster, R&B hippies.
nocturnal creatures
the dream but more like beautiful nightmare.
drakes version of aston martin music.
is this trey songz and yeaysayer after they party super harcore?

Needless to say, the album is mysteriously creepy and intoxicating to the ears, but I can’t stop playing a couple tracks here and there. The mixtape House Of Balloons was self released from Toronto’s Abel Tesfaye a few weeks ago and it seems as if theres a good amount of buzz being built from Drake to talks of who has worked on these tracks such as, Producers Doc McKinney and Illangelo. I don’t know how to feel about them saying this is R&B but everyone has their own memory of what that actually is. Heres where you can go to their website and download the whole thing.
Anyways, check it out for yourself please, and leave a comment on what you think? I’m actually really interested in seeing y’alls response or reaction to this mixtape. Let’s hear it!
