“The Art of the Automobile” at Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris
The Department of French Tourism must have finally realized that simply put, summer sucks (it’s murderous, literally) in Paris. (In the summertime, it’s Central African hot and ummm, duh, that’s what the French Riviera is for, the summer). Until August 28th, Ralph Lauren has sent his favourite cars to Musee des Arts Decoratifs (the western wing of the Louvre). 17 gems, from the 1930s to the present, ranging from the greatest brands of cars ever made: Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Porsche and naturally, Ford-oops, I mean Ferrari (sorry, I get them mixed up all the time).

Everyone knows Ralph Lauren has a legendary car collection (he’s got +60 alone in Westchester County, New York), but this collection, this art exhibit is a triumph and ultimate showcase proving RL as one of the greatest automobile collectors in modern history. This collection is a behemoth of timeless luxury, impeccable sophistication and resounding quality.
