Raphael Saadiq – Seattle Show

Raphael Saadiq played to a sold out show this past week at The Showbox. Many may remember Saadiq as a key member of the new jack swing group Tony! Toni! Tone!. After singing his latest soulful jams from Stone Rollin’ like “Radio” and “Good Man”, Saadiq took it back to the sing the band’s seminal hits. But that’s a good thing considering his soulful hits like “Anniversary”, “Ask of You”, “Me & You,” and “Dance Tonight” all sung passionately on stage, Saadiq often grabbing the mic, eyes closed, letting the beats and rhythm take over his soul.
