Katie Gallagher, “Silent Soil” F/W 2012
Katie’s show Silent Soil was held at the Standard Hotel and what a dope set she had. Industrial I beams protruding from the floor like the building had imploded on itself. The runway covered in black shredded rubber that look like black soil. Props to the models for not going down, it looked kinda sketchy for sure. The clothes looked great, some pretty wild patterns and fits. Women of the future look no further. I am pretty sure Aeon Flux will grab a couple pieces.

Inspiration:
The Forest is a place that a city can not possess. Katie Gallagher’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection, “Silent Soil” is about bringing the atmosphere of the places that the spirit knows to the places that the body lives.
