The video for Kanye West’s single ‘All of the Lights’ dropped this weekend and it is dominated by flahsing full-screen text that can only be compared to the credits sequence for Gaspar Noe‘s Enter the Void. (Designed by Tom Kan and Thorsten Fleisch) Is it a Coincidence? We’ll have to ask Hype or Kanye ourselves. The flashy, Tokyo-inspired neon lights aesthetic, combined with thought provoking images takes the video to a whole other level.
A video about mistakes, people were starting to take his place, but now he’s back. A song that invokes intense emotion when listening to it! I can see why Kanye and Hype chose to include epileptic inducing strobes and visuals. A good match to the songs thought provoking lyrics.
Definitely been on the rotation since the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
I love all the hooks that each artist participated in. Can you hear the featured artists?
