Dia Frampton – Heartless (Cover) The Voice

I’ve been a fan of Dia for some time now, not only because of her unique and beautiful voice but her style and humbleness. Dia has been involved in music all her life, performing at small venues and big, but I was surprised to see her on NBC’s The Voice during round two of the show. I knew right then and there, America and the world would see how talented she really is.

Her influences range from Modest Mouse, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Joni Mitchell, The Avett Brothers, Rocky Votolato, Ben Folds, Etta James, Death Cab for Cutie, The Cranberries, and Cursive. Not only can she sing, but she can play a wide variety of instruments from percussion to strings.

Earlier this week, Ms. Frampton performed her own rendition of Kanye West’s “Heartless,” accompanying herself on piano for the performance on national TV.

This is what the judges had to say about her performance this week.

Adam Levine: That was the most refreshing unique thing I’ve seen on the show so far.

Cee Lo Green: Very original. The greatest rendition of that song I’ve heard.

Christina Aguilera: It was very interesting. You are so cuddly.

Blake Shelton: This is my favorite moment of ‘The Voice,'” he said. “Because the for the first time, America has gotten to see Dia Frampton do what Dia Frampton does.

Good luck Dia!!! You’ve got our vote.
