Art in the Streets

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles is featuring Art in the Streets, which explores the evolution of graffiti from the 1970s to the present day. From New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, and Sao Paulo, this exhibition will display various types of street art media. Though some deem this type of art a form of vandalism, graffiti has actually evolved into a phenomenal form of cultural expression, and has transcended beyond the limits. Fifty artists are featured in this visual treat. Exhibit is now through August 8th. Go to moca.org for more information.

MOCA is located at 250 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012
